Kingman looks sunny and still warm Friday. The National Weather Service calls for a high near 96, with a south southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon and gusts as high as 30 mph.

Tonight turns breezy with patchy blowing dust between 11:00 p.m. and midnight. Mostly clear with a low around 73. South wind 16 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. No active weather alerts are posted for the Kingman area this morning.

ADOT’s Monday-through-Thursday daytime one-lane work on I-40 between Stockton Hill Road and Beale Street (mileposts 51-48) is off for the weekend. Overnight eastbound lane restrictions on I-40 between the US 93 junction and Silver Springs Road (mileposts 72-80) resume Monday evening through Friday mornings through year-end. Expect delays up to about 15 minutes and a reduced work-zone speed when crews are out.
