Motorists and commercial vehicle operators traveling I-40 through the Kingman region should be aware of increased inspection activity beginning Tuesday. The Arizona Commercial Vehicle Safety Partnership (ACVSP), which includes Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers, will conduct the annual “International Roadcheck” enforcement operation on Interstate 17 and Interstate 40 in northern Arizona from Tuesday, May 12 through Thursday, May 14, 2026. The three-day operation targets commercial vehicle safety compliance and is part of a nationwide annual effort.
Drivers of large trucks and buses are advised to ensure all required documentation, equipment, and safety systems are in order before traveling those corridors this week.
