Around Town
The Bureau of Land Management’s Kingman Field Office website is experiencing a planned outage this week. The site is expected to be down for roughly three hours at some point during business hours the week of June 15. The BLM said an exact day and time would be posted before the outage occurs.
With triple-digit heat settling in, the BLM notes that the Hualapai Mountains offer cooler summer temperatures than the valley floor. Wild Cow Springs Campground is an option for those looking to get above the heat. The Cerbat Foothills Recreation Area near Kingman also has trails, though hikers should plan around the heat and carry adequate water.
