Arizona’s 114th Birthday: The Mohave Museum of History & Arts held a special celebration from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to honor the state’s 114 years of statehood. The event featured the unveiling of a new Statehood Exhibit, which included handmade valentines created by local students for the state. Families participated in Lego-building activities and enjoyed birthday treats.
Valentine Craft Fair: The Be My Valentine Craft Fair concluded its two-day run on Jagerson Avenue, offering local shoppers a variety of handmade gifts and creative works from community vendors.
DePuy Auction: A large auction took place at the Mohave County Fairgrounds, beginning at 8:00 a.m. and continuing throughout the day.

Helicopter Crash Investigation: Following a tragic shootout earlier in February, a Coconino County grand jury indicted a suspect on 60 criminal counts, including murder, on February 14. The charges stem from a night of violence that led to the crash of a Kingman-based DPS Ranger 56 helicopter, resulting in the deaths of its pilot and paramedic.
Fatal Collision Update: Authorities continued to investigate a deadly motorcycle accident that occurred on February 12 on Stockton Hill Road. A 26-year-old Kingman resident died after his motorcycle collided with an SUV shortly after failing to stop for a police officer.
City Excellence: The City of Kingman was officially recognized for its fourth consecutive year as a “Best-in-Class Employer” by Gallagher’s U.S. Benefits Strategy & Benchmarking Survey.

High School Wrestling: Athletes from Kingman and Lee Williams high schools spent the day competing in regional Sectional tournaments.
Soccer Victory: The Kingman Academy Lady Tigers advanced in the AIA Girls Winter Soccer State Tournament following a dominant 7-0 shutout victory against Veritas Prep.
