Septic Workshop
Mohave County Environmental Quality runs a free septic permit workshop tonight from 5 to 6 p.m. Meet in the Boriana Conference Room at Development Services, 3250 E. Kino Ave. Property owners and builders can attend. Contractors too. Seating is limited, so register through the county notice if you need a seat.
Stockton Hill Lanes
ADOT has I-40 narrowed to one lane between Stockton Hill Road and Beale Street today. That stretch covers mileposts 51 to 48. The daytime cuts run 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Delays can hit about 15 minutes in the West Kingman work zone.
Interchange Progress
The West Kingman I-40/US 93 project sits at about 70 percent done. Cost is $106 million. ADOT says the free-flow ramps should open in early 2027. Rock blasting can close US 93 from 8 to 9 p.m. on weeknights when crews need it. That stretch runs between the I-40/US 93 interchange and US 93 at State Route 68. Beale Street exits stay open.
Exit 56 Date
Flying Fortress Parkway at I-40 Exit 56 opens Monday, Oct. 5. The $44 million interchange adds two lanes each way. Bike lanes and sidewalks come with it. The city still plans a ribbon-cutting and a WWII Flying Fortress flyover. Exact time and spot are not posted yet.
