Festival of the Arts Takes Over Metcalfe Park
Kingman’s 47th annual Festival of the Arts officially begins today at Metcalfe Park in celebration of Mother’s Day weekend. The event, which runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM today and continues Sunday, features a vibrant collection of local artists, craft vendors, and food stalls. Admission is free, and the festivities include live entertainment throughout the day.
Community Honoring Civil War Veterans
The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War are hosting a public ceremony at 10:00 AM today at Mountain View Cemetery. The event will mark the grave of Private Henry Leffler and dedicate a new headstone for Corporal Francis Farley, recognizing their service during the 1860s.
