Local Government: Debate Over Mayoral Terms Heats Up
The City of Kingman is currently calling on residents to submit their official stances regarding a proposed shift in leadership structure. Community members have until April 22 to file written arguments either for or against extending the Mayor’s term from two years to four.

This measure is set to appear on the July 21, 2026, primary election ballot, giving voters the final say on the city’s executive duration.

Community & Events: Spring Festivities in Full Swing
Spring Carnival & Expo: The Mohave County Fairgrounds is hosting the final weekend of the 2026 Spring Home & Garden Expo and Carnival. Families can enjoy rides and shopping today through tomorrow.

Live Music: This evening at 6:00 PM, Hive Five Meadery features a free live performance by Dusty Dames & The Park Rangers.

Looking Ahead: The city is also preparing for the “Day of Caring” on Saturday, April 4, and the kickoff of the First Friday season on April 3, themed “Planes, Trains & Automobiles”.
