The City of Kingman is anticipating the next phase of the multi-state I-40 TradePort Corridor project following the acquisition of federal grant funds earlier in the year. This major initiative aims to bolster trade efficiencies along the Interstate 40 route from California through New Mexico.

Additionally, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is expected to reach the halfway point on the multi-year Kingman interchange project in 2025. No new construction-related closures are planned for state highways for the New Year’s travel period, easing movement for holiday travelers through the region.

Local Government and Utilities
Mohave County officials are moving forward with plans to terminate a long-standing, 25-year license agreement with Greenstone Land Holdings, LLC, for a solar project near Kingman that has yet to break ground. The county plans to finalize the termination process early in the new year.
