Today’s Weather
Warm and mostly cloudy day with a high of 69°F and a low of 51°F. There is a slight 10% chance of light showers in the afternoon.

Infrastructure Windfall:
The City of Kingman is set to receive nearly $1 million from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). The payout helps to compensate the city for the removal of a municipal billboard and the loss of advertising revenue.

Public Safety Advancements:
Supervisors from 911 Dispatch recently graduated from a leadership development program, intended to enhance local response times.

Interchange Press:
Work on the I-40 Rancho Santa Fe Parkway project continues. Traffic remains diverted to a mile-long temporary roadway at milepost 56, with a reduced speed limit of 55 mph through the work zone.

City Services:
Kingman government offices will be closed this Wednesday, Dec. 24, and Thursday, Dec. 25. Regular operations will resume on Monday, Dec. 29.

Transit and Waste: KART bus services will not run on Wednesday or Thursday. Additionally, there will be no trash collection on Christmas Day; residents with Thursday pickups should put their bins out one day early.

Family Christmas at Black Bridge: Black Bridge Brewery is hosting “The Swillers Family Christmas” tonight, starting at 7:00 p.m., featuring live music and food from The Canvas fire truck.

Festive Fashion: An “Ugly Sweater Party” featuring karaoke and a DJ kicks off at 9:00 p.m. at 1716 Hoover Street.

Holiday Lights: The Very Merry Street of Lights stationary display continues in Historic Downtown Kingman on Beale Street, featuring this year’s “Elf on a Shelf” theme.
