High temperature expected in the mid-70s. These above-average temperatures are forecast to persist through most of the week before a cooling trend arrives by the weekend.

Citywide Observance and Service Changes
Kingman municipal offices are closed today in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Residents should note the following service adjustments:

Trash Collection: Neither residential nor commercial solid waste services are running today. Pickups for Monday and Tuesday routes will be delayed by exactly one day throughout the week.

Public Transit: The Kingman Area Regional Transit (KART) system is not in operation today but will resume its standard schedule on Tuesday, January 20.

Major Traffic Infrastructure Upgrades
Commuters should prepare for activity at the intersection of Stockton Hill Road, Hualapai Mountain Road, and Andy Devine Avenue.

Daytime Work: Crews are scheduled to begin signal system upgrades along the road shoulders today.

Upcoming Night Closures: More intensive overnight work will follow from Tuesday through Thursday (9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.), involving lane closures and intermittent signal blackouts as new traffic cameras are installed.
