Downtown First Friday Kickoff: The highly anticipated First Friday season launches tonight at 5:30 p.m. with the theme “Planes, Trains & Automobiles.” This high-energy street festival on Beale Street features over 100 vendors, food trucks, and live music. Expect street closures from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. between 2nd and 5th Streets to accommodate the 9,000+ attendees anticipated for this “Best Local Event” award winner.
