Annual Toy Run Roars into the Region
Thousands of motorcyclists will be traveling through the Mohave County area today as part of the annual River Riders Toy Run. The charitable event features an estimated 2,000 riders transporting toys to spread holiday cheer to local children. The ride initiates in Parker, Arizona, with participants expected to arrive in Lake Havasu City around 12:30 p.m., proceeding along McCulloch Boulevard South to Main Street. Temporary street closures are in effect on Main Street in Lake Havasu City to accommodate the gathering and the influx of participants.

Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony
A ceremony is scheduled for this morning in nearby Lake Havasu City to commemorate Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. The public is invited to attend the event at 8:00 a.m. at London Bridge Beach Park near the flagpoles. The solemn occasion is a collaboration with the USS Arizona Relic Committee and Marine Corps League Detachment #757.

Kingman Rings in the Holiday Season
Kingman kicked off its holiday festivities yesterday with two major events: the 19th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Locomotive Park and the “Very Merry Street of Lights” celebration. The tree lighting event debuted a new, musical light display synchronized to classic holiday tunes, which will run nightly through the end of the year.
