Beale Street Night

First Friday returns to downtown tomorrow from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. The theme is A Trip Down Memory Lane for 100 Years of Route 66 and a Big Hair Bulldogs Reunion. Beale Street closes from First Street to Sixth Street for the block party. Vendors, food, and live music fill the five blocks. Some shops stay open late.

Birthday Ball

Kingman Young Marines host a Birthday Ball Saturday, Oct. 3, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. It runs at College Park Community Center on Jagerson Avenue. Tickets are $10 per person through Zeffy. Dress is formal. The night includes a dedication for AZDPS Aviation Supervisor Robert S., killed in the line of duty. The mayor is the guest of honor.

Friday Kickoff

Kingman Bulldogs host Odyssey Institute Friday, Oct. 2, at 7:00 p.m. Kickoff is at Kingman High School for a region game.

I-40 Today

ADOT still has I-40 down to one lane between Stockton Hill Road and Beale Street. The weekday pattern runs 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through Thursday at mileposts 51 to 48. Delays can hit 15 minutes in the work zone.
