The Fair Is On at Fairgrounds Blvd This Weekend

The 2026 Mohave County Fair is happening right now at 2600 Fairgrounds Blvd in Kingman. Official dates are Thursday, September 17 through Sunday, September 20. Theme this year is Neon Nights, according to the county fair book.

Gates open at 10 a.m. each day. Expo halls run 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. That is the crafts, exhibits, livestock side of the fair, the part where you wander around and bump into half the town.

Fair admission is separate from carnival rides and separate from the rodeo. That is where people get mixed up every year.

According to Mohave County Parks, fair entry at the gate is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 5 to 12, $5 for seniors 65 and up with ID, $5 for veterans and first responders, and free for kids 4 and under. Parking is free. Buy that at the fairgrounds gate when you go in. Official info is on the county page at https://parks.mohave.gov/fairgrounds/annual-county-fair/

Carnival hours are Thursday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday noon to 11 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wristbands are listed at $45 at the carnival, cash or card, on the county fair page. Explore Kingman and other local listings also mention a $35 pre-sale price when available. If you still want a cheaper wristband, check the fairgrounds office or county posts before you assume the pre-sale is still open mid-weekend. Do not invent a link that is not posted. Start with the official fair page and the fairgrounds office at 928-753-8620 or fairgrounds@mohave.gov.

These fair weekend people seem to think you can show up with one ticket and cover everything, as if the gate, the rides, and the rodeo are one blob.

On top of this, the Kingsmen Andy Devine Days PRCA Rodeo is at the fairgrounds during the fair, Friday and Saturday. Friday, September 18, gates open at 5 p.m. and the performance is at 7 p.m. Saturday, September 19, gates open at noon and the performance is at 2 p.m. Venue is the fairgrounds arena on Fairgrounds Blvd.

Rodeo tickets are sold separately. The Kingsmen site says RodeoTicket.com is the only official online seller for their events. Start at https://kingsmenrodeo.org/ and use their Get Tickets path, or buy at the gate. Listings tied to the Kingsmen event show adult tickets around $20 plus fee, seniors, veterans, and first responders around $15 plus fee, kids 7 to 12 around $10 plus fee, and ages 6 and under free. Fees can change the checkout total, so check the live cart before you argue with somebody in line.
