Fair Closing Day
Mohave County Fair wraps today at 2600 Fairgrounds Blvd. Expo halls and the carnival both run 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Adults pay $10. Kids 5 to 12 pay $5. Kids 4 and under get in free. Parking is free.
Route 66 Sign
ADOT put a big Route 66 sign on a new bridge over the I-40/US 93 work zone in west Kingman. Crews are still paving the mile of free-flow ramps. Final flyover girders for southbound US 93 to eastbound I-40 are due in October. Beale Street exits stay open through the work. Project finish is still lined up for 2027.
I-40 Weekdays
Starting Monday, ADOT again narrows I-40 to one lane between Stockton Hill Road and Beale Street. That stretch covers mileposts 51 to 48. Daytime cuts run 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Delays can hit about 15 minutes in the west Kingman zone.
Fall Festival
Museum of the Great Wars fall festival and car show is next Saturday, Sept. 26. Noon to 4 p.m. at Kingman Church of the Nazarene on Stockton Hill. Admission is free. Car show entries, vendors, and museum displays are part of the day.
