The National Weather Service in Las Vegas issued an Extreme Heat Warning that runs through Tuesday, August 5 at 8:00 p.m. PDT. It’s been in effect since Sunday afternoon.

City Hall

The Mohave County Board of Supervisors holds its regular meeting this morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Auditorium at 700 West Beale Street. On the agenda is a zoning ordinance amendment hearing, open to the public.

A separate Planning and Zoning Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, also at 700 West Beale Street, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interested residents can appear and be heard on items listed in the commission’s notice.
