Domestic Violence Leads to Death
Mohave County deputies were attempting to apprehend a man for a domestic violence assault that occurred earlier that morning. The individual barricaded himself inside a trailer in Golden Valley, warned he was armed, and reportedly set the structure on fire. The man opened fire on law enforcement, leading deputies to return fire and fatally strike him. He was pronounced dead after being pulled from the burning trailer.
