City Operations & Holiday Closures
Municipal Shutdown: In observance of Presidents’ Day, Kingman City Offices were closed today.
Trash & Transit Delays: Garbage and recycling services were paused; residents with Monday or Tuesday pickups should set their bins out one day later than usual. Additionally, the Kingman Area Regional Transit (KART) bus system did not run today but will resume its standard schedule tomorrow, February 17.

Sales Tax Discussion: The Kingman City Council is reviewing a proposed 0.5% sales tax increase to fund a crucial connector road for the Flying Fortress Parkway Interchange. Without this funding, there is currently no set timeline to link Airway Avenue to Industrial Boulevard.
